Boarding

It is never an easy task to leave your fur babies in an unknown place when you go away. Vinjon’s has been providing the best pet care at our facility since 1971. Whether you are looking to board your pet for a few nights or an extended stay, you can rest assured that your pet have FUN and will receive the highest standard of care. Along with overnight sleeping areas, we offer outdoor play and exercise time in a group or individual setting with our experienced pet handlers. Depending on the temperament and health condition of your pet, we offer different boarding options at our facility.

Special care is available for our senior animals and other special conditions (upon request). As a guest at Vinjon’s, all animals receive individual attention and daily handling from our trained professionals. We administer owner-provided and veterinarian-prescribed medications and special diets in accordance with instructions. Should a problem arise, your veterinarian will be notified. If we are unable to reach your veterinarian, an available veterinarian will be contacted.

Overnight Stay with Group Play

Dogs will be staying in their designated area during night. During the day, they will be placed in separate groups by their temperament, size and age for group play. All dogs must pass a behavior test to get enrolled for this option. We also require that all dogs meet the following vaccine and health requirements:

● Vaccinations Required: Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP
● Vaccination Recommended (by not required): Influenza
● Pets should be on monthly flea preventative (responsibility of pet parent)
● Pets should have an annual negative fecal parasite (including Giardia).
● Pets should be spayed or neutered at the time of enrollment (unless less than 6 months of age).

Overnight Stay with Individual Play

Pets will be staying in their designated area during night. During the day, our handlers with play one-on-one with dogs to provide them enough stimulation and exercise. All dogs in this group will be tested for temperament and basic health conditions as well to make sure that they are a good candidate to play with our dog handlers. In addition to behavior test, we also require that all dogs meet the following vaccine and health requirements:

● Vaccinations Required: Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP
● Vaccination Recommended (by not required): Influenza
● Pets should be on monthly flea preventative (responsibility of pet parent)

● We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that pets should be spayed or neutered at the time of enrollment.

Reminders

To reduce stress and the possibility of stomach upset, we recommend that you please refrain from feeding your pet 4 hours prior to check-in When bringing your pet(s) to Vinjon’s, be sure to have your dog on a leash and/or your cat in a carrier.

This will prevent any problems when dropping off or picking up your pet(s). Toys and Treats are permitted during your pet’s stay and will help them feel secure in your absence. You are the expert regarding your pet.

Please advise us of any behaviors, conditions, or other issues that may affect the success of your pets stay with us. (Medical, behavioral, safety concerns, etc.) Our primary goal is to have a healthy, happy vacation for your pet and peace of mind for you.
